Box / Caddy / Organizer
I have found that "caddy" is a little used term, and "box" or "box with handle" is a less perfect description, but one that is commonly understood.
This example is made from maple, and cherry. The centerboard is tennoned through the sides and wedged, and the handhold is decoratively scroll cut. The partitions are angled, and mortised into the sides. The angled ends are hand dovetailed. Very strong construction, designed to last forever.

These are one of the few pieces that I batch produce out of a few different woods. The ones below are made from cherry, maple, walnut, and birch, all solid wood. I made jigs to help speed construction, but there is still a lot of handwork. Last I kept count, they take about 20 hours each.
